Hey!! Welcome to WPC! Hope this site is helpful for you as you seek to find answers about our church. I'm the pastor of our Lake Country Campus which is in the heart of a thriving metropolis of 10 000 people (15k north of Kelowna). I've been serving at WPC since January 2007 and although it has not been a long stay I've really come to love not only our campus, but also the community that I live in. Prior to arriving at WPC, I was in full time studies and before that I served in Nanaimo as a youth pastor for about 9 years.
Now a bit about myself...I've been married for 16 years to a beautiful woman that I'm crazy about who not only has a great sense of humor but who is also really patient with me (say no more! Say no more! :)) We have three amazing kids (all girls - and yes, I'm already anticipating bankruptcy in the future) who bring us some of the greatest joys in our lives. Besides hanging out with my family I also love volunteering at the local fire department and playing hockey in an old timers league (I prefer to call it the 35 and over league - it's less depressing). In addition, I also enjoy wood working, cooking (my wife likes this part too), reading, checking out how well the Habs are doing, and listening to music (I can sing a mean falsetto of U2 and Van Halen).
What I love about our church, and particularly the campus that I belong to is that we are beginning to develop a great sense of community and mission. One of the tag lines that you will often hear from me at our campus is something that I hope becomes a reality among our people - "we don't have it all together but together we have it all."
