Romans 8:28-30 (South)

Campus: South

Romans 8:28-30

When Pauls says in Romans 8:28 "And we know that for those who love God all things work together for good, for those who are called according to his purpose." He causes us to pause and think about our focus. Looking at life through the lens of "this too will be for His glory and my good" allows us to live in freedom and swing at life - hard! Our perspective can shift.

BUT, this verse does cause some other questions as well -

  • "How can God allow this pain?"
  • "What does Paul mean by "good" because this doesn't feel good right now!"
  • "'ALL things? Really?"

This Sunday we will be jumping into these hot topics by studying Vs 28 - 30. These verses contain some of the most misunderstood and misused verses in the New Testament. Knowing how they apply to us brings us incredible freedom, boldness and hope as our perspective changes!
